What music or artists inspired you?
Bob Dylan, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Paul Simon all had an impact on me as I was growing up and developing an interest in music – it was their song writing and live performances that I found fascinating.

How did things get started?
I dropped out of uni early and started playing around London with different bands in different scenes and tried to see if it was something I could make something of, while working out what it was that I found so exciting about it all.

How would you best describe your live show?
Overwhelming.

What shows do you have coming up?
Some European dates including Eurosonic and then a tour of the UK in February.
Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.

Tell us about your latest release:
Gamble For a Rose. An album about love, and escape. It’s my second record and I’m excited to be releasing it so soon. It’s a slight departure from the sound of my first record, as I wanted to return to the roots and the sounds that first inspired me.

Where can I get your music?
iTunes!
