Before they head to Port Macquarie for Fesdtival of the Sun, Baddies will be having a bit of a pre-Christmas party of their own in Adelaide on Friday night. Hitting the stage at new venue, the Fat Controller, the boys will be supported by The Hard Aches and Special Patrol – a treat for Adelaide music fans who’ve been following all three lots of acts from the early days through ’til now.

Chris Cornell

Chris Cornell – SYDNEY

Chris Cornell’s acoustic shows have been going down extremely well around the country and this weekend he finally arrives in Sydney for two shows at the Opera House. Performing with just an acoustic guitar and accompanied by cellist Bryan Gibson, Cornell will be taking the crowd through reworked cuts of some brilliant tunes from his extensive career. Supporting in Sydney will be Dave from Gang of Youths, who has been on tour with Cornell for all dates so far.

Bully – BRISBANE

Bully’s run of headline Australian shows comes to an end with their date in Brisbane on Saturday! The Nashville act are in the country for the Meredith Music Festival and have so far torn stages up in Sydney and Melbourne – they’re such a dynamic force on stage, there’s no doubt they’ll make their presence felt when they introduce themselves to Queenslanders on the weekend!

Going Steady Fest – ADELAIDE

This is going to be one for the books in terms of killer live events in Adelaide. The Going Steady Fest is bringing together some fantastic local and visiting psych musicians for an afternoon and evening of musical goodness that’s too much to ignore. Running in its inaugural year this year, the festival on Sunday will be headlined by Moon Duo and will be backed up by some brilliant talent including Glass Skies, The Dunes, Sons of Zoku and more!

Joey Cape – BRISBANE

The Lagwagon frontman is turning things on its head a little this Friday night, bringing a swag of tunes through to Brisbane’s Crowbar in full acoustic mode. Having dropped his solo album Stitch Puppy a few months ago, Cape has more stories to tell and no doubt they’ll rear their head at this show! You’ll also be able to catch The Flatliners’ Chris Cresswell at the show, also in acoustic mode.
