Watch the AU’s Editor-in-Chief Larry Heath deliver a passionate speech supporting Australian live music

“We should be celebrating our live music scene. Not shitting on it every fucking chance we get.”

Last week at the 2nd Annual AU Live Music Awards in Sydney, the AU review’s editor-in-chief Larry Heath delivered a passionate speech supporting the live music industry in Australia, criticising the practise of major media in Australia to only cover live music in this country when Taylor Swift comes to town, or when there are deaths at major music festivals. He goes on to award the Best Live Act of the Year to Gang of Youths, who have a few things to say themselves. Watch the full clip here:
