Wolf Parade have returned; announce (and sell out) reunion shows and set to play Pickathon in Portland!

It’s been the moment fans have been waiting for for five years – after going on an indefinite hiatus in 2011, Canadian heroes Wolf Parade are back! It’s been reported that the band will be releasing new music in 2016, and they have already announced a pile of shows in May!

5 nights at the Bowery Ballroom in New York and 5 nights at Lee’s Palace in Toronto, Canada, have already sold out at the time of print. The band will then pop over to London for two shows at Scala on the 14th and 15th of June. Tickets for those dates and more details can be found on their official website HERE.

Wolf Parade never made it down to Australia in the original run, however band member Dan Boeckner told fans when he toured Handsome Furs here that the band would find a way to make it down – so here’s hoping that happens this time around!

The closest they’ll be getting is a show in Portland, Oregon, as part of the annual boutique Pickathon Festival, which happens from the 5th to the 7th of August. They’ve just been added to the event alongside the already announced Jeff Tweedy – who’ll be in Australia soon for Bluesfest -Beach House – who are in Australia now – Ty Segall & The Muggers, Yo La Tengo, Patrick Watson, Black Mountain, The Oh Sees, Alvvays, Dan Deacon and Kevin Morby, who was also added to the festival this week.

The festival is the only other date on their schedule so far.
