Aussie indie-rock icons George announce one off Adelaide show this December

It’s been over a decade since Adelaide hosted a george concert, with the full band reuniting back into the spotlight for a handful of massive one off performances in 2016, marking their 20th anniversary as a band.

george first began gaining serious momentum in the early 2000’s with a full-bodied, indie sound that saw the five piece selling out major venues, very much paving the way for non-commercial music to make it big. Since the band’s last run of official shows in 2005, individual members have taken time to work on their own creative projects, including vocalist Katie Noonan who has released and toured a collection of her own work.

Following up their most recent sold out performance at Brisbane Festival, george are set to return to Adelaide soil at the end of the year for what is sure to be a very special evening. They’ll play The Gov with Jack Carty on December 4th.

Tickets available through Oztix.
