Tkay Maidza, The Preatures, Saskwatch, and more feature in Merivale’s new waterside live music series

Sydney hospitality juggernaut Merivale have teamed up with Corona Extra to bring in the new year with a packed program of live music featuring some of Australians best established and rising talent across three of the group’s waterside venues. A total of 39 Aussie (and some international guests) artists will be taking part in this 12-day schedule, which takes place on Coogee Rooftop, by Ivy Pool, and at the massive The Newport (formerly Newport Arms) on the Northern Beaches.

From 3rd January to 20th March 2016, the Sunday Sundown series will showcase the likes of The Preatures, dance-rap queen Tkay Maidza, the soulful Saskwatch, and more. DJ sets will come from the likes of Safia, Yahtzel, and KLP.

It will all kick off on 3rd January on the stunning Coogee Rooftop with a Tyler Touche and Jess Kent supporting The Preatures, who will be performing an acoustic set. From then on, it will be a whirlwind of big name Aussie acts adapting to a more intimate platform with mainly stripped back and acoustic sets to match the intimate, waterside settings.

Entry to Sunday Sessions at both Coogee Rooftop and The Newport is free, but it’ll be $20 entry at Ivy Pool Club, where the likes of Tkay Maidza and LDRU will throw down pool-side performances.
