The Wombats to play only Falls Festival sideshow at the Hordern Pavilion in January

Having recently been announced to be heading back  to Australia for the Falls and Southbound festivals at the end of the year, The Wombats evidently couldn’t go a trip Down Under without making a stop in the Harbour City. They’ve announced their only headline Australian show on the trip for the Hordern Pavilion for January 3rd, their first since they had to go through venue upgrades in the middle of the year to meet the demand for their Splendour in the Grass sideshows.

Long having had a great relationship with Australian crowds, the band will be wrapping up a solid year of Glitterbug touring almost fittingly, with us. Having made their massive festival debut at Splendour 2008, The Wombats have returned time and time again, bigger than each previous trip. And ticket sales each time have only gone on to prove how strong the love for the Liverpudlians has continued to remain. Don’t miss out on these tickets – they’re on sale from 10am October 22nd to the general public, while Secret-Sounds members will have pre-sale access from 10am, October 21st.
