The Stonecutters festival steps things up in 2017, with Bleeding Knees Club, Wil Wagner & more Adelaide bound

Returning for its third year, Adelaide’s Stonecutters party has upped its own ante in ensuring the punters don’t leave the Queen’s Theatre without a single bead of sweat having been shed. Last year’s event saw the likes of Dune RatsAlex LaheyHigh Tension and West Thebarton Brothel Party run havoc at the iconic venue, while 2017 will see some of the country’s favourite performers step up to the plate.

Bringing the unadulterated noise and chaos from interstate this year will be SKEGSSWil Wagner and Bleeding Knees Club, while holding things down on the local front are artists including Horror My FriendGod God Dammit DammitSleep TalkShe’s The BandBec StevensStorkRat CatcherPinkish Blu and True Holiday.

The above represent Adelaide’s thriving rock and punk scenes, bottling frenetic energy and delivering it through blistering music that has been resonating with younger first-time gig goers, right through to those of us who have been riding with these bands from the beginning. Come August 12th, Stonecutters will be providing the venue and the noise, you just need to rock up ready to party.

Tickets are on sale from June 15th at 9am via www.moshtix.com.au. How much are they, you’re wondering? This festival will set you back a mere $25.
