The National bolster Australian tour dates with addition of Little May to east coast shows

Returning next month for the first time since 2014, The National will be playing shows in Sydney at The Sydney Opera House, Brisbane at Riverstage, and Melbourne at Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Excitingly, this week we learned that special guests Little May as support act for all Australian shows!

The connection between the two extends to the studio, with Little May’s acclaimed record, For The Company, being produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner. The release of the album also saw a bit of a change for Little May as well, with guitarist Annie Hamilton departing the band after the album’s release to pursue other projects. Remaining members Liz Drummond and Hannah Field have since been working on Little May’s long awaited sophomore album though, so we’re keen to see what’s coming next!
