The Hard Aches finally drop sophomore album details & new tour dates!

The Hard Aches‘ debut album was easily one of the best releases to come out of South Australia in 2017; hard hitting, evocative and endlessly entertaining with each playback, the duo presented a studio album that threw their band into the hearts of fans around the country, while landing The Hard Aches a solid amount of industry acclaim in the same breath.

And while tours have seen The Hard Aches continue to finesse their live presence, the question has always ticked: When is new music coming out?

Well thankfully, we’re not waiting any longer; the band has released details on Album #2, coming in the form of Mess, this April 13th. The creative process saw The Hard Aches knuckle down in Melbourne with producer Sam Johnson at Holes & Corners Studio, bringing in the likes of Georgia Maq (Camp Cope), Craig  Selak (The Bennies) and Jeff Rosenstock to the mix to provide some guest vocals on what is set to be some of the most developed and memorable Hard Aches material to date.

“Our brand-new album Mess is a collection of songs inspired by the people around us and the experiences we’ve all shared together or apart.” songwriter Ben David has explained. “Written with a focus on mental health in a hopeful and positive light. This album is sonically (and creatively) the best representation of us as a band, the album we’ve been working towards creating through years of touring and making music.”

The Hard Aches will also be out on the road with their new songs in April, taking Antonia and the Lazy Susans and Sincerely, Grizzly out on the road for an unmissable tour. Tickets are on sale from February 5th via www.thehardaches.com.
