They were announced on the stomper Yours & Owls Festival line up this week, but we’re stoked to see The Coathangers are going to be out in Australia for a bit longer! The US band will be bringing their praised album Nosebleed Weekend out to Australia and New Zealand for the first time, hitting up venues around the joint through September and October.
The tour marks the band’s first visit to New Zealand and their return to Australian fans, while their Yours & Owls appearance will be The Coathangers’ first Aussie festival gig. The album of course, has proven that is a band who continues to show the good stuff, even after 10 years in the game. Still blending edge with an effortless (and relentless) approach to instrumentation, The Coathangers are ones to see if you’ve not yet had the opportunity to.
