The 2018 St. Kilda Festival is a great example of a free live music event done right

It’s the country’s largest free music festival event so it’s safe to say that when the crew behind the St. Kilda Festival get together to nut out a line up that consistently reflects talented Australian musicians, a sense of summer fun and entertainment that will draw the numbers out in force, they mean business.

Which is where this year’s line up comes into play. Announced today, the St. Kilda Festival is set to feature live performances from some of Australia’s favourite bands and artists including The JezabelsDan SultanTkay Maidza and more, while also giving some local favourites and emerging groups their own time to shine, with the likes of Swim SeasonSamsaruhXani and Hachiku all landing primo spots on the line up.

With over 400,000 set to come through to witness the festival unfold on February 11th, this year’s St. Kilda Festival is looking to be all time. You can find out more information about the festival here, but in the meantime, check out the full line up and timetable below – this is how Melbourne does it.
