The 2015 WA Music Awards took place in Perth overnight as part of this year’s WAM Festival, with Jack Rabbit Slim’s being packed out with folk keen to celebrate the sheer amount of talented musicians coming out of the West throughout the year with some unforgettable music. As expected, Tame Impala won big on the night, taking home an impressive four awards out of their nominated six, while Tired Lion, Methyl Ethel and KUČKA each went home as multi-award winners.
Tomàs Ford provided some strong MC entertainment on the night, while invited industry speakers from around the country joined in presenting awards to the winners. Performers on the night included the awesome Jacob Diamond, Joni in the Moon and Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse, who also went away with awards of their own.
