Sydney’s Bad Friday event is a mighty fine way to kick off the Easter Long Weekend

With a long weekend ahead of us, many places will be shutting for Good Friday – this isn’t the case when it comes to the Sydney crew throwing the eighth edition of Bad Friday. The all day block party takes over Marrickville on Friday and man, is the line up a stellar one.

Headlined by DMAs and featuring the likes of The JezabelsSampa The GreatRoyal HeadacheBec Sandridge and Shining Bird, the party continues in the great tradition set down by the party starters back in 2010 when they launched Bad Friday at the Annandale Hotel. This year, the party heads to Railway Pde in returning to its roots.

Exclusive and unique to the event will be a tribute to concert movie The Last Waltz – a band will be born out of Bad Friday featuring some special guests joining the house band for a one-off performance not to be missed.

Already down to their final release of tickets ahead of the event, Bad Friday is expecting a wild turn out so if you want to be in on the madness, head to Oztix and snap your tickets up now.

The event is also getting behind the Support The Supports initiative – a well worthy one, too – encouraging punters to get down early and check out the artists opening the festival. Get to the event before 2pm and enjoy a free beer on the crew, a little taster to go with the sick music you’re going to catch early on!

Set times can be viewed below – Bad Friday is an over 18’s event.
