Support charity & see your favourite musos face off on the football pitch for Musica Copa in Sydney tomorrow

Head down to the KIKOFF Soccer Centre in Marrickville tomorrow from 2pm to see the music industry swap their onstage gear for their on field colours as they take part in this year’s five-a-side football tournament for charity.

The prize?

The glorious Championship trophy, bragging rights and a cheque to be forwarded on to their nominated charities.

For only $10 on the door, you can see the likes of Peking DukThe Delta RiggsNina Las Vegas and more face off against each other in Sydney’s inner west all for a great cause. Musica Copa has your hunger and thirst needs taken care of too, with Young Henry’s and Mary’s Burgers returning for the Beer & Burger Bar ($5 beers, hello).

FBi Click has got the DJ side of things down, announcing a curated line up of DJ’s to entertain throughout the event, featuring locals Body Promise, Never Slept, Honey and Bare Necessities and the graduates of FBi Radio’s Dance Class 2016 (GIRLIRL, Katia, Soft Hands) alongside Sandro Dallarmi, Lauren Hansom and Sports.

Some of the music companies taking part in the tournament in an attempt to win a share of the $10,000 prize cash for their charities include the crews from I OH YOU, Falcona, FBi Radio, Future Classic, Red Bull Music Academy, Sony Music and more.

Since Musica Copa was founded in 2013, over $30,000 has been raised for charity, with this year’s prize total currently sitting at $10,000 thanks to contributions from the teams and partners including Red Bull, DJ Warehouse, Recovery Water and Jackery Power.
