Stranger Things comes to the Laneway Festival, as S U R V I V E join 2018 line up

The St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival has garnered a new addition not to be missed, with the announcement that Texan synth group S U R V I V E is joining the 2018 tour. At the official launch of Stranger Things‘ second season in Sydney this morning, the announcement was unveiled; two member of the group are behind the theme tune of the Netflix juggernaut, one that has since spawned many interpretations of the eerie original soundtrack.

Evoking solid 80’s nostalgia, the Stranger Themes soundtrack ties in brilliantly with some popular names making their own twisted and synth drenched sounds permeating through contemporary pop climate today, so seeing what S U R V I V E are able to do with this is going to be an exciting point of the festival for both Stranger Things fans and general fans of the genre too, as they perform music from both projects.

S U R V I V E have already played huge festival stages including Coachella and Primavera Sound, and will be dropping a new remix EP in RR7387 next week! Stay tuned.
