Sickness forces GROUPLOVE to cancel 2016 Australian tour

Sad news for GROUPLOVE fans hanging out for the US band’s Australian return for the Falls Festival this month as illness has forced the group to cancel all shows lined up for the next six weeks. Vocalist Hannah Hooper has been put on strict doctor’s orders to rest her vocal cords, which is taking her out of the game for a sizeable amount of time while she heals.

The cancellation has affected the band’s current US dates as well, but GROUPLOVE have assured those who are missing out that they’re going to be trying to suss make up tour dates when next possible. Along with their Australian festival dates, GROUPLOVE were also scheduled to perform on the east coast along with Phantogram. Updates on those shows and how they will be moving forward are still to come.

Vocal damage isn’t something to be messed with and for a band like GROUPLOVE, who are known for their highly energetic shows, we can only wish Hannah the best in her recovery.
