ScHoolboy Q announces Australian tour dates for 2016

With the recent release of his fourth studio album Blank Face, Black Hippy emcee ScHoolboy Q has announced that he’ll be touring Australia this spring, bringing his latest material and rich back catalogue to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, and This That festival in Newcastle.

Fresh off what is perhaps his best and most realised collection of music to date, the Top Dawg Entertainment emcee plans to rock some of Australia’s most popular live music venues, first heading to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on November 4th before making the short trek to Newcastle for a set at This That festival on November 5th. He’ll hit Brisbane shortly after on November 8th when he plays at Eatons Hill, then the next day he’ll head down to Melbourne to bring it at Melbourne’s Festival Hall. Q will wrap up his Australian tour in Perth when he plays Metro City on November 10th.

Australia last saw ScHoolboy Q when he down here as part of Listen Out in 2014, going down as one of the most memorable acts from the travelling festival before enjoying an even bigger profile worldwide due to his appearances on tracks by the likes of Tinashe and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. This new Blank Face LP cements his status as one of the most anticipated hip hop artists in the world right now, with guest spots from Kanye West and label mate SZA to Jadakiss and Miguel.

Tickets to all shows go on sale at 12pm (local time) on Tuesday 19th July. Telstra Thanks is running a pre-sale for Telstra customers from 11am Thursday 14th July until 5pm Sunday 17th July which you can access HERE. For more information and full ticketing details click HERE.
