Saturday Night Live’s “Hotline Bling” parody has Donald Trump dancing for forgiveness

Despite more than a few protests, Donald Trump was included on the most recent Saturday Night Live, surprisingly going along – mostly to great effect – with some typical SNL hilarity, in addition to starring in a parody for “Hotline Bling. Both cringeworthy and kind of brilliant, SNL manages to convince trump to portray your everyday, no-rhythm-havin’ tax man with all the appropriately soulless dancing that comes with it, giving Drake a run for his dad-dancing, gif-worthy money.

Also starring Jay Pharoah as Drake, and funny man Martin Short as Ed Grimley, as well as a handful of other cast members, “Hotline Bling” is but one of the several skits Trump participates in, showing at least that the man can take a joke at his own expense, even if it involves being bounty-heckled by Larry David (who screamed “You’re a racist!” at Trump in order to collect $5,000).

This of course, does not at all make up for the many times Trump has exposed himself as a bigoted egoist, but at least he tried.

In other news, dog is better dancer than Trump:
