Ryan Bingham announces Australian tour dates for April!

Grammy Award winning performer Ryan Bingham is making his way out to Australia this April for a run of dates fans won’t want to be missing – instead of just ducking over for a quick stop Melbourne/Sydney run, the Texan will be sticking around a little longer, visiting venues in Byron, Brisbane and Bendigo as well. Performing in ‘semi-acoustic’ mode, Bingham will be bringing his acclaimed 2015 release Fear and Saturday Night to fans in some great venues down the coast.

A wonderful songwriter and wordsmith in general, Bingham was thrust into the spotlight with the release of “The Weary Kind”, written for and featured the 2010 film Crazy Heart. The tune earned Bingham an Oscar, a Golden Globe and the Grammy Award – successes that came at the same time as some family tragedies. The death of his parents and his process of grieving and the eventual progress of being able to look forward to the future is represented with the material on Fear and Saturday Night – stories Bingham will no doubt tell with heart and brilliance on this tour.

Tickets are on sale from midday, February 8th. Telstra Thanks members will have access to a special pre-sale event from midday, February 2nd until midday, February 4th. Access this bad boy by visiting Telstra today.
