Premiere screening of I Am The Blues lined up for Australian Music Week

Australian Music Week is hooking into Cronulla right through the weekend, with multiple opportunities for those wanting to learn more about the music industry, network and see some fine artists perform all scheduled to roll out. Along with the program of panel sessions and the HiFi Days Festival, there will be a special premiere screening and live soundtrack performance of I Am The Blues.

Presented by the Australian Music Week and the AU Review, this exclusive event will feature Ray Beadle and Chris Cain perform the film soundtrack at the screening on Saturday, November 5th. Our sister site, The Iris, reviewed I Am The Blues at SXSW this year – the film taking a look at the blues musicians who still live in the American Deep South and had a significant impact back in the genre’s heyday and still tour the Chitlin’ Circuit today.

Doors are open from 7pm, with tickets still available for purchase HERE. Tickets for all the Australian Music Week showcases and panel events are on sale via Oztix. For more information about AMW 2016, visit www.australianmusicweek.com.
