Phoenix flies again! French indie favourites announce headline Australian dates

Remember when “Lizstomania” was the anthem of every goddamn summer festival or party you attended back in 2009/2010? Who else could have been producing such effortlessly dance-able indie music that side of France but Phoenix. Since Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix broke the band in global markets, the band has become a favourite on the live circuit though admittedly, it has been a long time since Australian fans have seen the group perform.

That’s about to change, with the new Sydney City Limits festival set to bring Phoenix out to Australia in 2018. While they’re in the country, Phoenix are also locked down to perform some special headline shows in Brisbane and Melbourne, announced today.

The band hits up Margaret Court Arena on February 26th, before heading out to Brisbane on March 1st for an unmissable show at their Exhibition Centre. Tickets are on sale to the general public from 10am, November 21st, while Live Nation members can access an exclusive pre-sale from 11am November 17th through until 5pm, November 20th.
