Parramatta to host 70 local artists this weekend at free “Live and Local” music event

Parramatta’s CBD will be livened with the sound of music this weekend, as the City Of Parramatta hosts its now annual “Live and Local” event.

For the second time, over 70 artists of Sydney’s West will perform throughout the CBD, taking place this Saturday, April 14. The mini-festival will last for five hours, spanning across an impressive 17 venues.

“This year, Live and Local will include more artists from Western Sydney and culminate with an exciting program of original live music performances,” Lord Mayor Cr Andrews shared. “Everyone should bring their friends, join us to experience all that our local music scene has to offer, and be prepared for a great afternoon out.”

The expansive lineup will include an array of Sydney artists, including L-Fresh the Lion, B WisePist Idiots, Nasho, Slim Set, Orion, High-Tails, Big White, Elijah Yo, Jannah Beth, and Cult Shotta.

Live acts will begin at 1-6pm, picking up at venues including Centenary Square, the Albion Hotel, Alex & Co, Husk and Vine, Butter Sydney, Burger Project, Bavarian Bier Café, 353 Church Street, Novotel Sydney Parramatta, UNE Sydney, and Uncle Kurt’s.
