Nominees announced for the 2015 FBi Sydney Music, Arts & Culture Awards

Awarding the most exciting new voices across music, arts, and culture, FBi’s SMAC Awards (FBi Sydney Music, Arts & Culture) have today announced nominees for 2015. 11 categories will be carefully chosen from, and we don’t doubt that the judging process will be incredibly difficult, seeing as these shortlists are full of names which have really impressed in their fields this year.

With a long history of recognising and showcasing talent across this country, including Seekae, Beastman and Sarah Blasko, the SMAC Awards will once again crown the very best in emerging and established artists.

The awards will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday 12th January, which will be broadcast live on FBi 94.5FM, just two days after Fbi Radio host a full-day public festival to complement the awards. The FBi SMACs: A Festival of Sydney music, arts and culture will be held at Carriageworks on January 10th, 2016. For more info and the full line-up head to http://fbiradio.com/smacs-festival

Public voting is now open for the awards, and will run until 5pm December 18th, 2015. Those voting will be in with a chance to win a BOSE Soundtouch 10 wireless music system and Soundlink wireless headphones. See the full list of nominees below and head to fbiradio.com/smacs to vote and for more info.
