Marlon Williams unveils Make Way For Love and 2018 tour dates

The long awaited sophomore album from Marlon Williams is officially on its way, with the Kiwi musician revealing more details on his forthcoming new music today. The follow up to his acclaimed self-titled debut comes in the form of Make Way For Love, due for release via Caroline Australia on February 16th.

Along with news of Make Way For Love, Williams’ new single and music video has also been released – “Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore” sees Williams duet with ex-partner and fellow New Zealand musician of the moment, Aldous Harding on a song that exudes tenderness and fragility in spades. What we’ve managed to glean from this song and previously released single “Vampire Again”, is that Make Way For Love may head in other musical directions than Williams’ country-heavy debut focused itself on. The use of guitar, reverb and spacious string arrangements nods towards a larger soundscape in which Williams has been writing and recording for, which makes us very keen indeed.

Marlon Williams is also heading back to Australia after a huge run of European and American tour dates next year, tackling venues right around the country in May – tickets are on sale to the general public from 10am local time, November 16th, while a pre-sale for Frontier Members commences from noon AEDT on November 14th.
