Maids hitting the road with “Girl Power” this April!

Newcastle rock band Maids have dropped a new power pop anthem in “Girl Power” and are gearing up for one hell of an east coast tour to celebrate! The tune, as the title may suggest, aims at highlighting the sleaziness of men club environments; according to drummer and vocalist Sean Cook, “It’s a story about a girl rejecting a man harassing her in a nightclub. Girls are often sexually objectified, particularly hip hop and I wanted to poke fun at the sleazy nature of a lot of men”.

We’re keen to see these boys back out on the road, especially with some new material, give the tune a listen below and be sure to check them out down the east coast through April!
