Lupe Fiasco will perform Food & Liquor in full on upcoming Australian & NZ tour

Imaginative, innovative and endlessly thoughtful emcee Lupe Fiasco will have a special treat in store for Australian and New Zealand fans when he returns to this part of the world for a round of shows in January 2018. Armed with razor sharp wit, the provocative rapper will not only bring fans a nicely sized scoop of his most loved material, but he’ll be performing his debut album in full.

That’s right, every track from 2006’s Food & Liquor will find its way onto Lupe’s set as he performs live on a five-date Australian tour before popping by New Zealand for a show in Auckland. Widely considered a modern hip hop classic, the Grammy-nominated Food & Liquor is still in discussions on the greatest rap albums of the 2000’s. Since then, Fiasco has gone on to become one of the rap’s most celebrated wordsmiths with a penchant for clever, penetrating lyrics that explore everything from materialism and social psychology to misogyny and bravado.

Lupe will also be dipping into his incredibly diverse back catalogue, which will hopefully span classic cuts from The Cool, his equally celebrated sophomore album, to the heavily underrated Tetsuo & Youth and this year’s Drogas Light.

General public tickets are now on sale to all Australian and New Zealand dates, which are listed below. You can grab them and more information HERE.
