Listen to The Cactus Channel’s new single ahead of their new EP dropping this Friday!

The Cactus Channel are a Melbourne-based instrumental group who are teaming up with Ball Park Music/My Pet Radio‘s Sam Cromack on their upcoming 6-track EP, Do It For Nothing.

Ahead of the release on April 21st, you can listen to the EP title track, which follows up their first single “Sorry Hills”. Going through The Cactus Channel’s previous two LP’s, the vibrant, soul/60’s funk is instilled throughout. This complex yet addictive groove that the band has established is made even more exotic with Cromack’s spacious, earworm vocals that weave effortlessly through frenetic rhythms.

This collaboration is a gem, turning over a sound somewhere between Ball Park and BADBADNOTGOOD- a sound you should be treating yourself to ASAP.

Pre-order the forthcoming EP HERE and catch the band plus Cromack on tour when they visit Howler in Melbourne on May 25th, Hudson Ballroom in Sydney on May 26th and The Brightside in Brisbane on June 2nd. Tickets are on sale now via thecactuschannel.com!
