Leon Bridges, Halsey make their Australian debuts alongside The Wombats, Paul Kelly and more as Falls Festival continues at Mt Duneed Estate

The first full day and night of the Falls Festival in Victoria saw some familiar faces and some breakthrough international talent come to Mt Duneed Estate.

With all the action happening on the newly constructed “Valley Stage”, punters caught Ainslie Wills perform an early but definitely impressive set, while both The Bennies and Dune Rats each brought their classic ‘get fucked up’ party vibes to the original Lorne event through the arvo.

Standout sets were delivered by both Leon Bridges and Halsey, the American artists both making their debut Australian appearances at the festival as the temperatures burned up and began to ease up as the sun set.

Headlined by The Wombats, following a stomper set from the Hilltop Hoods, the Falls audience got their first proper taste of the diverse program of music still to come as we edge closer to December 31st.
