Lemmy’s funeral to be livestreamed via Motörhead’s official YouTube channel this weekend.

The iconic Motörhead legend Lemmy will be remembered and celebrated during a special memorial service in LA this weekend and the band’s management has today released a statement to their fans. The funeral service, to be held on January 9th (Sunday, January 10th AUS time), will be streamed via the band’s official YouTube channel – link up HERE.

Says the statement: “So wherever you are, PLEASE get together and watch the service with fellow Motörheadbangers and friends. GO to your favorite bar, or your favorite club, make sure they have access to an internet connection and toast along with us.
Or simply invite your pals around and celebrate Lemmy’s life at home. Whatever your venue, and however you can, let’s be sure to gather globally on Saturday 9th and celebrate the life of our dear friend and irreplaceable icon.”

To make a donation under Lemmy’s name to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, or to find out more information about the charity, head to www.diocancerfund.org.
