Legendary hip hop duo Onyx announce Australian tour for 2015

Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz, collectively known as Onyx, are pioneers when it comes to hardcore New York hip hop, delivering some of the most energetic rap cuts of all time and mirroring that same vibe in their undeniable live shows. Next month, Onyx will be returning to Australia (fitting in a show in Auckland as well) for a tour that takes them all the way from Sydney to Darwin to Perth. Joining them will be Canadian emcee Snak the Ripper.

Titled the ‘bacdafucdownunda Tour’, Onyx will start off in Auckland on Friday 27th November at Tony’s Jugg Inn before heading to Sydney the following day for a show at The Factory Theatre. From then it’s a back-to-back series of shows in Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Adelaide, and finally Perth, mostly in smaller, more intimate venues.

This will be Snak the Ripper’s first time touring Australia and New Zealand, coming to us after much hype in Canada, which has seen him considered as one of the most exciting emcees in the country following electric live performances with the likes of Swollen Members and Cunninlynguists.
