Kate Ceberano awarded the Order of Australia on Queen’s Birthday Honours List

She’s one of the country’s best known and beloved entertainers and this year, Kate Ceberano has been awarded another special note of recognition, the Order of Australia. Revealed as part of this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List, Ceberano is one of many esteemed individuals who have made the list.

Ceberano has been officially recognised for her contributions and service to the performing arts, notably as a singer, as well as her contributions to charitable organisations. It’s been a big few years for Kate, who recently celebrated a successful 35 years in the Australian music industry, marking the milestone with the release of ANTHOLOGY, Ceberano’s 24th studio release.

She says of her OAM recognition, “I am so very proud and honoured to be receiving this award from this great country of Australia that I love.”
