John Mellencamp touring with Jewel and Carlene Carter in February

John Mellencamp will be embarking on an Australian tour next February, hitting up some of the country’s best wineries and arenas for some shows fans out this way have no doubt been waiting for for quite some time. The famed American musician brings with him his extensive catalogue of songs, as well as some special guests in Jewel and Carlene Carter. Jewel, who is currently on the promo trail for her latest record Picking Up The Pieces, will be showcasing her new material as well as the hits that broke the Alaskan singer songwriter into mainstream attention, while country singer songwriter Carter brings her own impressive body of work through to Australia as well. The daughter of country icons June Carter Cash and Carl Smith, Carter added to her now 12 album strong  catalogue in 2014, releasing Carter Girl through Rounder Records.

Tickets for this tour will be on sale from 10am local time, October 23rd for the dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra and the Hunter Valley.
