Golden Plains XI nabs Neil Finn for March 2017 event!

While Crowded House fans have been losing their heads in ticket-buying chaos for the band’s November shows, Aunty has slid on in calmly this morning with the announcement that Neil Finn will be performing at Golden Plains next March.

The man’s musical career doesn’t need to be explained or recalled – everyone will know at least one of the many songs Finn has written, whether it be with Crowded House, Split Enz or as an acclaimed solo artist. He returns to the ‘Sup after almost seven years away so no doubt, this is going to be quite the special set for sure.

Everything else about Golden Plains remains the same in the festival’s 11th year in 2017; completely BYO, no commercial sponsors, one stage. Under a full moon next year, Golden Plains-goers will be able to experience a brand new sound system however, along with a new campground and the opportunity to bring kids in for free (under 12).

The three day festival at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre (March 11th – 13th), has also opened the ballot for punters to enter – for a short time only. The ballot is open until 10pm, October 17th – to get involved, head on over to the Golden Plains website HERE.
