There’s a new kid on the Sydney music event scene, with the huge NYE in the Park announcing its inaugural event this December. Keeping its ethos simple and to the point, the festival is all about curating good times for the final day and night of the year – begone, long lines and stupidly expensive ticket prices. Instead, welcome a stellar line up of bands and artists ready to throw down party jams to take you into 2018.
Between Falcona and Hot Dub Time Machine, the event has been created out of a need to draw punters out again for a great time when venues, live events and other elements of the Sydney music scene are currently suffering. Held at Victoria Park in Broadway, NYE in the Park is set to be an affordable event that comes packed with a great food selection and ample space for everyone to get amongst it. For just $59, you can organise one of the most affordable New Year’s Eve celebrations in Sydney you’re likely to come across.
