Freddie Gibbs announces Golden Plains sideshows for March 2016

Gruff and grimy emcee Freddie Gibbs will be returning to Australia in March of next year for a three-date Australian tour in some of the more intimate venues across Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, all centered around his appearance at Golden Plains Festival. The acclaimed rapper, whose latest album Shadow of a Doubt has just been released, put on some wild shows the last time he was down here so we’re expecting nothing less now that he has a richer stock of material to pull from.

Raw and authentic with his approach to street-minded hip hop, Gibbs continues to be one of the current generation’s defining emcees as is a stark reminder of why claims that “hip hop is dead”. These shows will be unmissable for any discerning hip hop heads in Australia.

Thursday 10th March – Perth – Jack Rabbit Slim’s
Friday 11th March – Sydney – Manning Bar
Saturday 12th March – Melbourne – Max Watt’s
Sunday 13th March – Golden Plains Festival (http://2016.goldenplains.com.au/)
