Flume unveils new track, “Healer”, for new Keep Sydney Open promo video

Just days after 18 plaques were unveiled by Keep Sydney Open to commemorate live music venues and the artists who cut their teeth in gaining invaluable experience on their stages, the anti-lockout law group have followed it up with a new promo video featuring the sounds of one of the city’s favourite exports, Flume.

The new video, running at just over a minute and a half in length, features a new track titled “Healer” by Flume – the new tune released specifically to back the Keep Sydney Open crew and their movement that has impassioned so many artists and music fans being affected by the lock out laws crippling Sydney’s live music scene.

The video shows floral and candle tributes being set up outside the likes of The Lansdowne, Spectrum, Goodgod and more, while Art vs Science and David Le’aupepe from Gang of Youths share their opinions on how the live scene is being affected by the State Government’s current shutdown of such venues.

Whether “Healer” will pop up on Flume’s next release (in whatever form that may be), we’re yet to see but in the meantime, get a taste of it below.
