Flamingo set for east coast tour this August off back of new single “At Sea”

Adelaide trio Flamingo have recently announced some sweet tour dates for audiences in their hometown, Sydney and Melbourne this August! Following the release of their new single “At Sea”, the indie-electronica band will be bringing their latest to music fans down the east coast, providing some unmissable opportunities to check out what it is they’re all about.

Flamingo have been forming a solid reputation for themselves as a quality act on record and on stage, they’re continuing to strive forward as well. “At Sea” was formed around the ever-present problem asylum seekers are faced with and in particular, the treatment of refugees by the Australian government at present. As vocalist Kacee Heidt notes, “Leaving your home and everything you have ever known to travel to the other side of the world in search of a life free from tyranny and devastation, with nothing but your family and the clothes on your back. This is one of the hardest things a person can possibly go through and something most Australians couldn’t possibly imagine.”

The band is continuing to put together more dates but in the meantime, check Flamingo out when they hit a venue near you on the east coast in a few months!
