FBi Radio’s Northern Lights competition launches for 2016!

Offering one Australian act the chance to jump on a plane and head to Iceland to perform at the esteemed Iceland Airwaves Festival  in Reykjavik, FBi’s ‘Northern Lights Competition’ is back for another year!

In terms of prizes, the ones on offer to the lucky winner are pretty damn sweet. As well as a spot on the festival line up which, this year, boasts the likes of PJ HarveyWarpaintKate Tempest and more, the competition also will see the winner spend a day at  Sigur Rós‘ Sundlaugin Studio and network with some of the industry’s best. Once back in Australia, they’ll spend three days recording and developing the work they created in Iceland out at Sydney’s Studios 301.

The competition was first launched in 2011 and has since seen the likes of LUCIANBLOMKAMPOliver TankRainbow ChanThe Walking Who and more bring their music to crowds in one of the world’s most incredible landscapes.
