FBi co-founder Cassandra Wilkinson launches Sydney record label, Lazy Thinking!

Sydney has a new record label as of this week, with FBi’s Cassandra Wilkinson launching Lazy Thinking Records! Co-founded alongside Jim Flanagan, Paul Mcleay and Chrissy Flanagan, the label (one for ‘innovative music’) will celebrate its launch with an official party at Red Rattler on February 11th, showcasing the talented Rita Revell, Greenwave Beth, JaysWays and Artefact on the night.

The event will be the first in a new live music series – Lazy Thinking Presents – aimed specifically at profiling and nurturing the careers of unsigned artists. Says Wilkinson of the label’s launch, “As a co-founder of FBi, I’ve been a cheerleader for Sydney music for 1995. I’ve always believed that life is better with more music in it and that Sydney is better with more music in it. Introducing audiences to the best new noises we make right here is my passion and that’s what this label is all about.”

You can grab your tickets to the launch party through Moshtix now or grab them on the door for a ridiculously affordable $12. Gwaan. Support some good people doing some great things.
