Fader Fort announces SXSW return with a new location and a growing lineup

Returning for its 17th time at SXSW, the famous Fader Fort will once again be bringing the ruckus to the enormous festival with hot-ticket hip hop and R&B acts mixed up with a little variety. Running from March 14th to March 16th, the Fort will change spots and move on over to 1501 East 7th St for an indoor-outdoor space that’ll no doubt be one of the most popular venues of the entire week.

This year’s Fader Fort follows the announcement of Fader’s new publishing wing, Fader Books, and the release of FADER FORT: Setting The Stage, a 250-page tome full of photos, portraits and backstage shots from the first 15 years of the legendary SXSW party. Of course, it should make for one hell of a celebration as the brand groove further into their indelible position as one of the festival’s biggest names. That should be easy with partnerships confirmed linking Fader to Jack Daniel’s whiskey, Smirnoff Vodka, Beats 1, New Balance, SPiN, PBR and more, all of which will have a presence at the venue.

Now to the music: Fader have announced the initial names that’ll be taking the large stage throughout the three days, and they read as a who’s who of buzz acts like Vallejo quartet SOB X RBE, Bjork-endorsed Tennessee rapper BbyMutha, Sacramento’s Mozzy, Alabama representer YBN Nahmir, electro emo-pop band Now Now, and Nashville singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy. OF course, there’s going to be more, a lot more. Keep your eyes and ears peeled over the next few days as names are added to a line-up that has seen some of the most talked-about SXSW moments to date.
