Entries now open for the 2016 SA Music Awards

South Australian musicians and industry personnel are encouraged to get involved in the 2016 SA Music Awards this year, the entries for which have been officially launched by Music SA today! The second annual music awards will see the winners announced on Friday, November 11th.

For the 2016 event, there are ten public-voted genre awards available with some new categories added this year. The new additions to the Industry awards include Best Studio and Best Engineer, while a brand new award recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait music releases has also been added to the run of awards listed.

The special Ryan Freeman Live Music Award will be returning in 2016; the achievement award first given to Kelly Menhennett in 2015, who walked away with recognition for her music and a $4000 prize to assist her career.
