Elefant Traks welcomes OKENYO to its artist roster; check out “10 Feet Tall”!

Elefant Traks today unveil their latest artist welcomed into the family, Sydney songwriter and vocalist, OKENYO. Having been building a solid reputation for herself as a dynamic performer and creative mind for the last few years, OKENYO’s music fits in brilliantly alongside the other Elefant Traks artists she now can call label mates. Evocative and eclectic in style, OKENYO still packs a punch in delivering some memorable tunes and her latest, “10 Feet Tall”, is another great example.

You may have already heard her voice on Urthboy‘s tune “Second Heartbeat”, where OKENYO joins in with Sampa the Great in laying down some great flair of her own, but “10 Feet Tall” is one to set her apart on her own. Collaborating with Adelaide producer Badcop, the song is about igniting the strength and spirit of the women around her.

A great introductory single for any newcomers to OKENYO’s sound to switch on to – check “10 Feet Tall” out below and be sure to roll up early to any of Urthboy’s upcoming shows mid year to check OKENYO out for yourself!
