Cut Copy’s Australian tour is an absolute must; tickets on sale now!

Cut Copy‘s return has been one I know I’ve been hanging out for, for a long time. A lot of fond memories are attached to this group; not only were they one of the first Australian electronic acts to introduce me further to the flourishing genre in the early 2010’s, but with each album release, Cut Copy only continued to grow in musical complexity and talent.

And then, they went overseas. The first time I saw them play was at a Parklife festival moons ago, and then the last time I remember was in 2014; I was lucky enough to find myself smack bang in the middle of a sold out Terminal 5 in New York City as the band barrelled through the “Lights and Music” era of their catalogue to an epic response I still haven’t found to be matched.

So, it’s safe to say, Cut Copy’s return this year with Haiku From Zero more than piqued my interest. The band’s forthcoming fifth album has already produced some of my favourite Cut Copy songs in “Airborne” and “Black Rainbows”, so it was only a matter of some more waiting before tour dates were announced.

And here we are. Tickets are already selling well for Cut Copy’s Australian and New Zealand tour, but here’s a little taste of what you can expect:

Head along.
