Complete Sydney Psych Fest line up drops; Unity Floors and Dreamtime amongst new names

Now in its third year, the Sydney Psych Fest returns with more confidence and primo artists than before. Taking place at The Factory Theatre on February 25th, the likes of Carsick CarsWHITE+ and Flyying Colours are some incredibly artists from around the country including Unity FloorsDreamtimeDead Radio and Grinding Eyes.

With a reputation as Australia’s premiere independent boutique festival of the genre, the Sydney Psych Fest offers its punters a safe and welcoming space to enjoy the music, with an emphasis on a diverse and encouraging environment for live music to be explored and enjoyed.

Festival Director and Founder Dave Couri comments on the 2017 line up and the growth of the Sydney Psych Fest into the beast it’s become today.

“We’re really excited about the latest line up additions to the 2017 festival. SPF3 really comes together with seven of our favourite bands out of Sydney and we welcome back Dreamtime from Brisbane, who last played the festival in 2013.

This year’s edition will also feature a pop-up vinyl market with DJs spinning select grooves and we’ve teamed up with one of our favouriting community radio programs, FBi’s Dead Air, to handpick a few bands too.

We’ve made some real efforts to expand the sights and sounds of the fest, which we really hop to see our community respond to and they seem to be digging it. We’re knocked out to hear we’ve got people travelling from as far as Hobart, Adelaide and Victoria to attend. We can’t wait for next month.”
