Australian Music Week reveals its first performing artists, delegates, new partnerships and prize for 2017

The annual music conference and festival held in Cronulla, just outside of Sydney, Australian Music Week, has today announced the first 30 showcasing artists confirmed to play at the summit this November. Alongside this, the event has revealed their first group of delegates, a series of new partnerships and a brand new prize sure to excite anyone applying to perform at the festival.

We’ll start off with the line-up, which features artists from around the country – from Perth’s Mama Kin to Sydney’s William Crighton, who headlines this article. And the artists are…

Along with the first artist announcement, comes the first round of delegates who will participate in AMW’s conference programme.

AMW will be presenting over 20 panels featuring leading industry figures from Australia and abroad, including personnel from record labels, agencies, management and touring companies, tackling topics such as radio, touring, marketing, emerging technologies, artist management, and mental health within the music industry.

Australian Music Week is held from November 1st to the 3rd in Cronulla, NSW. Showcase applications close 17th July. Gold conference passes are available until the 31st of July at the special early bird price of $99 (inc. booking fee). Live show tickets are $20 + bf for one night, $35 + bf for 2 nights.
