What a day for festival announcements… the huge UNIFY festival has followed up with promises of a massive line up for 2017 today with a line up that’s going to have those who’ve already been able to nab a ticket feeling even more smug today, we bet. For everyone else – game on, come June 24th.
Headlined by Alexisonfire and backed up by the likes of Violent Soho, Every Time I Die, Northlane, letlive. and The Getaway Plan, UNIFY this year has got everything from nostalgia, to brilliant new kids on the block and more.
Alexisonfire’s appearance as headliner will no doubt be a massive drawcard for fans – the band’s first Australian appearance since their 10th anniversary tour in 2012.
Tickets will be on sale to the general public from 12pm AEST, June 24th via the website, HERE. As all the Early Bird tickets (2000 of them) sold out within 24 hours, we expect the general public sales to follow suit, especially with this line up released.
20 Australian artists feature this year at UNIFY with some special sets lined up. In particular: The Getaway Plan will be performing Other Voices, Other Rooms in its entirety, House Vs Hurricane will be hitting the stage for the first time since 2013, while I Killed The Prom Queen are set to perform Music For The Recently Deceased.
For more information on the festival and the bands set to play UNIFY this year, head on over HERE. UNIFY will be returning to Tarwin Lower once again, situating itself on the recreation reserve and footy field, as in 2015 and 2016. The festival in 2017 expands to become a two-night event and no doubt will be one of the highlights on this year’s music calendar.
