Placebo performed a unique one-off show for MTV Unplugged at the MTV London studios in the UK a few months ago including covers of The Pixies and Sinead O’Connors “Jackie”. The recording will be available November 27th on Universal Music Australia.

Melbourne four-piece Jaala is set to release their debut album Hard Hold on Friday 20th November through Warner Music. Led by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Cosima Jaala (Manglewurzel) Jaala’s sound is a cathartic blend of jangly indie-rock and proggy art-pop.

Three years in the making, Cathedrals is the debut album from Melbourne folk-pop quintet Playwrite and set for independant release physically on November 26th.

Natalie Prass

Natalie Prass will release her Side By Side EP on Star Time International / Caroline Australia, containing live renditions of “My Baby Don’t Understand Me” and “Christy”, as well as cover versions of Grimes’ “REALiTi”, Anita Baker’s “Caught Up In The Rapture” and Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence”.

The combined effort of both The Tongue and Sydney producer Papertoy, classic hip hop album Hard Feelings is out digitally on November 20th through Elefant Traks / Inertia.
