Áine Tyrrell steps in to replace NGAIIRE at the Rock and Roll Writers Festival this weekend

Irish performer and writer Áine Tyrrell has been announced as a late addition to the 2017 Rock and Roll Writers Festival, in place of NGAIIRE, who is unable to travel to Brisbane for the event this weekend.

Despite the wickedly dodgy weather much of Queensland has withstood overnight, the festival is still very much going ahead this Saturday and Sunday, with punters encouraged to get out and enjoy the forecast sunshine in Brisbane and mix it with the eclectic line up of musicians, authors, photographers and journalists all set to appear.

Áine Tyrrell’s inclusion on the RRWF line up is an interesting one as her background is one we’re eager to learn more about. Producing her family’s history and heritage through some brilliantly orchestrated music, Tyrell has been traversing Australia in becoming a beloved performer very much in demand.
