Australian music legends AC/DC have announced Swedish garage rockers The Hives and Australia’s own Kingswood as special guests for the Australian leg of their ‘Rock Or Bust’ world tour.
The 9 show tour will stop in Australia’s five major cities, before heading to New Zealand for two more shows to finish. AC/DC has already played shows all over North America and Europe off the back of their worldwide number one album Rock Or Bust.
The Hives first came to the world’s attention in 2000 with the release of their second album Veni Vidi Vicious, which brought them international fame. The group is still recording and releasing albums, currently working on their sixth release. Kingswood return home to Australia for the tour, the Melbourne boys having recently relocated to the US to base themselves in New York. Their albumMicroscopic Wars, of course, hit the top 10 in the ARIA charts, and also earned a ‘Best Rock Album’ nomination.
